Jen Christopherson studied ballet under the world renowned Melinda Cordell for over 10 years. She has performed as a soloist with the Fresno Ballet in the production of Fire Bird and More and in the Nutcracker as a soloist, “Candy Cane” and as a demi soloist “Flowers”. Jen was featured as a principal dancer in the 2002 and 2003 Miss California Pageants and has been a guest artist in the College of the Sequoia’s spring concert, as well as guest choreographer for both the College of the Sequoias and Porterville College Dance Team. She was a member of Altered Modalities, a contemporary dance company under the direction of Martha Kelly-Fierro and has performed in New York, Texas and through-out the United States. Jen has had the honor of working with several competition teams and her choreography has received numerous choreography awards at various competitions/conventions. She currently resides in Visalia, CA with her husband and two children.
Ferlyn Alarcon Fonseca is a former dancer and instructor of King's Dance Center and native to Lemoore. She earned her Baccalaureate in Theatre Arts and Dance at Cal State LA, training in hip hop, breaking, popping, locking, modern & contemporary, bebop & rhythm tap, jazz and ballet. Some of her credits include directing the dance department and the C.A.T.C.H. Kids Dance Troupe at Crenshaw Arts/Tech Charter High School, assisting the creative direction of Kruciaal Element Dance Company and directing the hip hop dance program for John Robert Powers, San Diego. She has worked with notable choreographers such as Lock N' Keeley from the Beat Freaks, Bryan "Boogiemind" East from Boogie Bots, Bradley "Shooz" Rapier from The Groovaloos, B-boy Crazy Legs from the Rock Steady Crew, Ardie Bryant, known worldwide as "The Ambassador of Tap," Frit & Frat and post-modern legends Marion Scott and Allegra Snyder Fuller. Currently, Ferlyn is CEO and Director of the 3 Be3ts Dance Company and is involved with the San Diego community with projects including the Annual Filipino Sun Festival Dance Competition, an after-school dance program in alliance with Three Treasures Cultural Arts Society, and working on an upcoming Youtube Project called "The Be3t Around...A Dance Adventure!"
Carina Couture grew up competitive dancing in California's Central Valley. She was accepted on scholarship and attended California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where she received a B.F.A. in Performance and Choreography. While there, she explored many styles of dance and worked with choreographers Barak Marshall and Rosanna Gamson. Since leaving CalArts, Carina has continued to study at many dance studios such as Edge Performing Arts Center, Millenium Dance Complex, The Beat Berkeley, Purdance San Jose, and La Compagnia in Barcelona, Spain. Her most recent work was with San Jose contemporary company, Tahira: Pure Dance Theater as the Rehearsal Director. Carina's areas of expertise include: Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Turns and Progressions, Ballet, and Improv.
